Bomb Threats Trigger Evacuations in Several Dwarka Schools

New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): A wave of alarm swept across Dwarka on Monday after a series of threat messages reached multiple schools in the area. The mails, traced to a Gmail account, have raised concerns among authorities and prompted a large-scale security response.

Officials confirmed that Modern Convent School in Sector 4 and ShreeRam World School in Sector 10 were among the institutions that reported receiving suspicious emails. Meanwhile, Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka received a bomb threat call earlier in the day, forcing school authorities to clear the premises immediately.

Police teams, along with the bomb disposal unit and fire service personnel, rushed to the schools to conduct searches and ensure safety. “The situation is being monitored closely, and every possible precaution is being taken,” a Delhi Fire Service spokesperson said.

Investigators are now examining the source of the emails and the phone call to DPS Dwarka to determine whether they are connected. Authorities reassured that, so far, no harmful materials have been discovered, and students’ safety remains the top priority.
