National Times Bureau :- Independence Day celebrations across the nation took an alarming turn when a bomb threat was reported on the Amritsar–Delhi Shatabdi Express. The train, which departed from Amritsar in the morning, was halted at Ambala station after authorities received the alert.
Security Forces on High Alert
Following the emergency stop, passengers were safely evacuated, and security agencies immediately began a thorough search of the train and passengers. The situation created a wave of fear and tension among travelers. Bomb disposal squads have been deployed, and the investigation is currently underway.
Administration Urges Calm
The government and railway authorities have appealed to passengers to remain calm and avoid paying attention to rumors. Officials stated that confirmation of the threat will only be made after the investigation is complete, with security forces handling the situation with utmost caution.
