BJP President Nitin Nabin Announces Major Organisational Reshuffle with New National Office Bearers

New Delhi (Gurpreet Singh): The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a major organisational overhaul with the release of its first list of national office bearers under party president Nitin Nabin, combining seasoned veterans and regional leaders. The appointments take effect immediately, setting up the party’s central leadership framework ahead of crucial upcoming state assembly elections with a focus on nationwide outreach and regional representation.

Thirteen leaders have been appointed National Vice Presidents, including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, senior leader Ram Madhav from Delhi, and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. The vice-presidential roster also includes Odisha leader Baijayant Jay Panda, Andhra Pradesh leader D. Purandeshwari, Uttar Pradesh representatives Rekha Verma and Prof Tariq Mansoor, Gujarat’s Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Maharashtra’s Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar, Madhya Pradesh’s Lal Singh Arya, Karnataka’s Prof M. Nagaraja, and West Bengal’s Dr. Madhuchandra Kar.

A significant inclusion in the top leadership is former Punjab finance minister Sardar Manpreet Singh Badal, providing Punjab key representation in the party’s national executive. Badal, who joined the party in 2023, is positioned to play an active role in consolidating the party’s base across northern India.

The broader restructuring includes eight National General Secretaries and sixteen National Secretaries alongside administrative appointments. Haryana leader Sanjay Bhatia has been named National General Secretary, while senior Punjab leader Tarun Chugh has taken charge as Central Office In-charge as the party sharpens its organisational machinery ahead of key electoral contests.
