Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): Best Buy Furniture, a prominent furniture retailer in Northeast Calgary, is set to host its second annual Stampede BBQ Mela on Sunday, July 6th, in celebration of over a decade of unwavering customer support. The event, announced during an exclusive conversation with National Times, is described by owner Karampal Sidhu as a heartfelt “payback” to the community for their loyalty.
Karampal Sidhu stated that following the great success of last year and the demand by the people, they are organizing the event again this year, extending his gratitude for the community’s “outstanding support to the store.” He emphasized that the event will be a wholesome family BBQ, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options, along with a warm, Stampede-style atmosphere. Karampal shared that the Entertainment Lineup and Live musical performances will be delivered by popular Punjabi vocalists, Amar Sehmbi, Angrez Ali, Veer Davinder, and local singers. These artists are expected to serenade guests with soul-stirring Punjabi melodies, adding cultural richness to the celebration.
Sidhu stated that the event will feature a combination of Food & Festivities, and a variety of BBQ dishes will be served, catering to different dietary preferences. The setup promises a festive community vibe complete with music, delicious food, and fun for families.
