Mumbai (Rajeev Sharma): Actor Avinash Mishra emerged as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, claiming the coveted trophy after a demanding season filled with high-risk stunts and intense competition. The grand finale, hosted by Rohit Shetty, aired on October 4, with Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry finishing behind him.
The victory brought a substantial reward for Mishra. Besides the winner’s trophy, he received a cash prize of ₹20 lakh, a car and a Europe trip. The three finalists were also presented with bikes as part of the finale celebrations.
Emotional Moment for the Winner
Mishra became visibly emotional when Rohit Shetty declared him the season’s champion. The actor broke down on stage while celebrating a victory that marked one of the biggest milestones of his television career.
Reflecting on his stint on the stunt-based reality show, Mishra said the experience ultimately became less about proving himself to others and more about discovering his own capabilities.
He also spoke about the mental pressure involved in performing dangerous tasks. According to the actor, physical preparation could only take contestants so far, with fear and the ability to remain composed becoming equally important when facing a difficult stunt.
A Consistent Performer Throughout the Season
Mishra established himself as a formidable contender early in the competition. One of the highlights of his run was his ability to complete every stunt without aborting a task.
He also won the Swift Immunity Jacket challenge, which came with an important advantage. The jacket gave him the choice of protecting a fellow contestant from elimination or opting not to use the benefit.
His path to the finale, however, was not without pressure. He faced strong competition from contestants including Farrhana Bhatt and Orry, while returning participants Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani also remained serious contenders.
The season witnessed several notable exits, including those of Harsh Gujral and Rubina Dilaik during the earlier stages.

The Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 finale was broadcast in two parts, with the concluding episode airing on Sunday. The season is also available for streaming on JioHotstar.
With his victory, Mishra capped a season in which he consistently pushed through physically demanding challenges and emerged ahead of two other finalists to claim the title.
