Chandigarh| The Punjab Government has declared a Gazetted holiday on December 28, 2023 in the State on the Shaheedi Sabha, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib-2023. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the State Government said that all the offices of Punjab Government, boards/corporations and government educational institutions will remain closed on Thursday, December 28, in the State. The said holiday is also announced to be a holiday as the interpretation of the section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

At least two Palestinian children were killed by Israeli army gunfire during its raid on the West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
