National Times Bureau :- The Haryana government on Tuesday clarified its position on carrying religious symbols into examination halls, stating that baptised Sikh candidates will be permitted to carry a small kirpan, while married women candidates may wear a mangalsutra. Chandigarh, January 20 — The Haryana government has issued detailed guidelines to address difficulties faced by Sikh students and married women candidates during examinations conducted by schools, colleges, universities and various recruitment agencies across the state.
