Chandigarh, December 26: The All India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament 2025–26 will be organised from January 12 to January 16, 2026, at the Table Tennis Hall in Sector 23, Chandigarh.
To select the Haryana men’s and women’s teams for the tournament, trials will be conducted on January 5 in Karnal. Players participating in the trials and the main competition will have their travel and related expenses borne by their respective departments.
A government spokesperson said that any employee appearing for the trials must produce a certificate from their department head confirming their employment status. The spokesperson further clarified that, as per the guidelines of the Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board, uniformed personnel of defence services, paramilitary forces and central police organisations, employees of autonomous bodies, daily wage workers, temporary employees, and newly appointed staff who have completed less than six months of service will not be eligible to participate in the civil services sports competitions.
The tournament is expected to witness participation from civil service players across the country, providing a competitive platform to promote sportsmanship and inter-departmental engagement.
