Al-Falah University chairman Javad Siddiqui arrested in forgery case, sent to 4-day police remand

National Times Bureau :- The Delhi Police arrested chairman of the Al Falah University, Javad Ahmad Siddiqui following registration of two FIRs based on a complaint by the University Grants Commission (UGC) after the Delhi blast. 

He was produced before a local court, which remanded him to four days of police custody for further interrogation. 

The action came after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had initiated proceedings in the matter.

The cases were registered over alleged irregularities and forgery related to the private university following the blast near Red Fort.
