National Times Bureau :- Leaders of the Shiromani Akali Dal today appeared at the Punjab Police Headquarters to record their statements in connection with the viral Patiala audio controversy. Advocates Arshdeep Singh Klar, Damanjeet Singh Sobti, and Jaspreet Singh Brar visited the headquarters following a summons from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), set up under the supervision of ADGP SPS Parmar to look into the matter.
The audio clip, which recently sparked significant political debate in the state, is now under intensified investigation. The police have called the Akali leaders to provide their accounts as part of the ongoing probe, which aims to uncover the circumstances surrounding the leak and identify those responsible for the lapse.
