Chandigarh, November 28, 2025: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana distributed ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Swadeshi Sankalp’ pamphlets to passengers at the Yamunanagar–Jagadhri Railway Station under the ‘Har Ghar Swadesh, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’ campaign. During the interaction, he urged people to adopt indigenous products in their daily lives and support Indian entrepreneurs and artisans, contributing to the creation of a stronger and self-reliant nation.
Rana said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a major global manufacturing hub through the Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat missions. He added that using Swadeshi products is a direct way for citizens to help build a robust and self-reliant India. He encouraged people to join this nationwide movement and strengthen the country’s journey towards self-sufficiency.
He also highlighted the government’s initiative for youth under the ITI Sukshma Yuva Yojana, which aims to provide free skill training to 60,000 young individuals to promote ITI-level vocational capabilities.
The minister further said that a major scheme for farmers under the Haryana MSME Directorate focuses on strengthening agricultural infrastructure. Under the Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy, new micro industries and agriculture-based enterprises in rural areas are being encouraged and supported.
