Chandigarh, February 28, 2025: Allegations of financial dealings in the appointment of the Bhawanigarh Truck Union president and an attempted suicide by a truck operator have raised serious questions about the Punjab government’s so-called “zero-tolerance” policy against corruption. BJP State Vice President Shri Khanna, in a statement, alleged that the policy is selectively enforced, applying only to lower-level employees while shielding AAP legislators.
Khanna accused AAP MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj and her husband of negotiating a ₹30 lakh deal for the truck union presidency, citing a viral video that allegedly provides evidence of the transaction.
