Chandigarh, February 19, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, along with his family, took a holy dip at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj on Wednesday and offered prayers to Mother Ganga.
He was joined by Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan and Sangrur MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, who also participated in the sacred ritual at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
A Rare Spiritual Experience
Expressing his joy after the ritual, Aman Arora told the media,
“Taking a dip at Mahakumbh was an immensely joyous experience. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as such a Mahakumbh will not come again in our lifetime.”
This Mahakumbh is historically significant, occurring after 144 years, as it follows 12 Kumbh cycles, each taking place every 12 years.
Prayers for Peace and Prosperity
Arora further added,
“I am elated to receive the blessings of Mother Ganga. I prayed for the peace, progress, and happiness of the people of Punjab and the entire nation.”
The ongoing Mahakumbh 2025 has drawn millions of devotees, saints, and pilgrims from across the country, making it one of the most significant spiritual gatherings in modern times.
