Mansa (Gurpreet Singh): A Punjab Police head constable allegedly shot and killed his son, wounded his wife and another son, and then died by suicide at his under-construction house in Jhujhar Nagar on Mansa Khurd Road on Tuesday morning.
The accused, identified as Gurwinder Singh, was posted as the personal gunman of the Mansa Deputy Commissioner. According to preliminary information, he allegedly opened fire on his family members before turning the weapon on himself.
The family had reportedly moved into the house on Monday evening, just hours before the incident.

Police suspect family dispute
Mansa Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Chaudhary visited the scene following the incident and confirmed that an investigation had been launched.
