Tiger Shroff Escapes Unhurt After Firing At His Car In Mumbai’s Juhu; 2 Injured

Mumbai (Gurpreet Singh): Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, October 18. The incident took place near Pushpa Park as the actor was returning home after playing football.

According to media reports, three men on a motorcycle allegedly fired at the actor’s vehicle while people had gathered nearby to catch a glimpse of him. Although Shroff was not injured, his driver and an autorickshaw driver reportedly sustained injuries and were taken to Nanavati Hospital for treatment.

Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar confirmed that the actor was safe after speaking with Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti. He said Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Manoj Sharma was at the scene and was looking into the incident.

The firing triggered a police investigation, with officers working to identify and trace the alleged attackers. The motive behind the incident has not been conclusively established.

What happened during the firing incident in Juhu?

The incident reportedly occurred after Shroff finished playing football and was on his way home. The presence of people near the venue meant that several individuals were in the vicinity when the shots were fired.

Reports said the actor’s car was targeted by the unidentified assailants. Shroff escaped without injuries, while two other people — his driver and an autorickshaw driver — were reportedly hurt.

Videos said to be from the area captured the sound of gunshots and people reacting in panic. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are examining available evidence to establish the sequence of events.

Is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang linked to the attack?

Following the incident, a social media post and a purported message claiming responsibility for the firing surfaced. Reports attributed the claim to individuals allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message reportedly alleged that Shroff had ignored warnings and referred to his professional association with actor Salman Khan.

However, a claim of responsibility on social media does not establish who carried out the attack. The authenticity of the message and any connection between the alleged gang members and the shooting require verification by investigators.

The motive behind the firing therefore remains subject to the ongoing investigation. No unverified claim about the attackers or their reasons for targeting Shroff should be treated as an established finding.

What action has Mumbai Police taken?

Mumbai Police have begun investigating the shooting and are attempting to identify the people involved. Reports said senior officers reached the area following the incident, while police teams were assigned to trace the suspects.

The actor’s safety was confirmed by Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar, who said he had spoken with the Mumbai Police Commissioner about the matter. The investigation is expected to examine the available footage and other evidence to establish how the firing occurred and who was responsible.

The incident has also prompted political reactions over the safety of public figures in Mumbai. Congress leader Sachin Sawant criticised the state government following the attack.

For now, Tiger Shroff has escaped physical harm, but the reported injuries to two drivers and the circumstances of the shooting remain key parts of the police investigation. Further details about the suspects, the motive and the alleged claim of responsibility will depend on what investigators are able to verify.
