Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Bhagwant Mann Government will intensify its flagship ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ with a crucial high-level meeting scheduled for tomorrow involving all SSPs (Senior Superintendent of Police), DCs (Deputy Commissioner), DSPs and SDMs (Sub-Divisional Magistrate) from across Punjab. AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu said the meeting would review the campaign’s progress, strengthen coordination between the police and administration, and establish a decisive future course of action against drugs.
In a statement,AAP Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu said, “CM Bhagwant Singh Mann recently held a meeting with all SHOs in Phillaur, and now, as part of the same initiative, a comprehensive meeting of all SSPs, DCs, DSPs and SDMs from across Punjab will be held tomorrow. While meetings of SSPs have taken place at the district level in the past, this is the first time that officials from all these ranks across every district are coming together for a joint meeting. The meeting will review the work done so far and deliberate on the future strategy and action plan.”
The AAP Punjab Media In-charge pointed out, “For approximately the past one and a half years, the Punjab Government has been fighting the battle against drugs on a war footing. This campaign will now be intensified further, with a sharper focus on results and effective action against drug networks.”
