New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): Four trains have been cancelled at their originating stations for October 10, 2026, in view of anticipated heavy road traffic around New Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. The decision, announced by DRM Danapur, affects trains scheduled to reach the two stations between 4 am and 2 pm on Saturday.
According to the railway authorities, Mail and Express trains departing from their respective starting stations after 2 pm on October 9 and scheduled to arrive at either of the Delhi stations during the specified time window will be cancelled at source.
The move is intended to account for the expected traffic congestion in the areas surrounding the two major railway stations.
