Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was reportedly recovered from a forested area behind the Sector 43 bus stand in Chandigarh on Sunday, prompting police to cordon off the area and tighten security.
According to preliminary information, several suspects have been detained for questioning in connection with the recovery. Some of those detained are suspected to have links to Punjab, though police have not officially disclosed their identities or confirmed the nature of any alleged links.
