Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): Calgary is preparing to welcome one of the biggest celebrations of Punjabi culture as the 26th Punjabi Indo Fest returns with a spectacular three-day mega show from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Prairie Winds Park, NE Calgary.
The information about the upcoming festival was shared by Bharam Laddu of Des Punjab Times and Shaukat Hayat of Hayat Homes (RE/MAX), who highlighted that this year’s event will celebrate Punjabi heritage, music, traditions, and community spirit with a wide range of cultural activities and entertainment.

The festival will feature performances by some of the most popular Punjabi artists, including Roshan Prince, Karamjit Anmol, Surinder Mann, Sukhi Pannu, Shazia Manzoor, Kamaljit Kamo, and Manpreet Randhawa. The event will provide audiences with an opportunity to enjoy live music, cultural performances, and a true Punjabi festive atmosphere.
The three-day celebration will begin on Friday, July 31, with a special Poetry Slam, followed by Mela Mawan Dhiyan Da on Saturday, August 1, celebrating the contribution of women and daughters in Punjabi culture. The festival will also include a vibrant shopping bazaar, food vendors, kids’ activities, and family entertainment throughout the weekend.
Bharam Luddu and Shaukat Hayat expressed their appreciation to the dedicated team of volunteers who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare for this major community event. They thanked all volunteers, supporters, and community members whose hard work and commitment continue to make Punjabi Indo Fest a successful celebration year after year.
