CM Nayab Singh Saini Urges Citizens to Register Votes for Democratic Strength

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the critical importance of civic participation on Tuesday, stating that every eligible individual must register their vote to strengthen the nation’s democratic foundation. Addressing a Tiffin Meeting held at Devi Lal Colony in Manakpur village near Pinjore, the Chief Minister highlighted the role of political parties in assisting election officials. He noted that Booth Level Agents appointed by political organizations work alongside Booth Level Officers to assist citizens during voter registration drives and broader electoral roll updates.

The interactive gathering in Pinjore was part of a statewide organizational initiative, during which the ruling party conducted thirty Tiffin Meetings across various Shakti Kendras in Haryana. Joined by local representatives, including Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma and district party office bearers, Chief Minister Saini engaged in detailed discussions with local workers to strengthen grassroots organizational networks. The meeting provided a forum for party workers to share field insights while discussing strategies to streamline public access to administrative and electoral processes.

Following the organizational meeting, Chief Minister Saini reiterated the state administration’s commitment to implementing welfare housing schemes aligned with central development objectives. Demonstrating direct public outreach, the Chief Minister visited the residences of two beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana-2 in Manakpur village. Meeting with beneficiaries Saroj and Jayanti, who received thirty-square-yard housing plots under the scheme, he shared a meal with their families while taking direct feedback regarding the implementation and accessibility of state housing welfare initiatives.
