Haryana’s Double-Engine Government Fulfilling Poll Promises at Rapid Pace, Says CM Saini

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday stated that the nation has witnessed rapid growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the last 12 years. Saini emphasized that Haryana is reaching new milestones in regional progress under the direction of its double-engine administration. Addressing public gatherings across various villages in the Ladwa assembly constituency of Kurukshetra district, the Chief Minister provided an implementation update on the state’s electoral commitments. He announced that out of the 217 public resolutions pledged during the elections, the state government has already successfully executed 66 core promises, while active implementation is moving at a fast pace across the remaining 151 welfare commitments.

During his tour of Kheri Dabdalan and Ghadouli villages, Chief Minister Saini rolled out multiple targeted infrastructure grants to boost rural living standards to par with urban centres. He sanctioned individual allocations of 21 lakh rupees each for the overall development of Kheri Dabdalan and the installation of a new heavy-duty tube well to secure local drinking water supplies. Similarly, Ghadouli village received 21 lakh rupees for rural development alongside another 21 lakh rupees dedicated to upgrading the regional drainage and water evacuation networks. Saini reviewed structural memorandums presented by village sarpanches, promising immediate state intervention to eliminate administrative bottlenecks in rural development.

Highlighting major state-wide policy initiatives, the Chief Minister announced that Haryana will soon introduce completely free dialysis services for all kidney patients across every government hospital in the state. Saini strongly criticised the opposition Congress party’s historic governance record, accusing them of relying on deceptive political rhetoric while failing to implement promises once in power, which ultimately led to their complete rejection by the electorate even in local body elections. In contrast, Saini underscored his administration’s transparent welfare delivery, noting that the government is purchasing all local crops at Minimum Support Price and has already dispersed over 300 crore rupees in direct subsidies to ensure underprivileged women receive cooking gas cylinders at a highly concessionary rate of 500 rupees.

The Chief Minister focused extensively on the success of the state’s flagship gender equality and educational programs. Saini stated that under the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, which guarantees monthly financial assistance of 2,100 rupees to women, the government allocated 5 crore rupees in its inaugural budget and has successfully transferred 1,650 crore rupees directly into the verified bank accounts of beneficiaries. The scope of this scheme has now been expanded to include the mothers of students who score above 80 per cent in academic evaluations. On the education front, Saini noted that the government’s Mission Buniyaad program is currently functional across 103 schools, serving as a primary scouting ground for the premier Super 100 initiative. This year, 270 underprivileged students trained under the Super 100 framework successfully secured admissions into the country’s top IITs, NITs, and elite higher education institutions. Saini urged rural families to enroll their children in government schools to leverage these advanced learning frameworks. Furthermore, the Chief Minister invited low-income households earning below 1.80 lakh rupees annually to apply for the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, under which the central and state governments jointly install free 2-kilowatt solar panel systems to eliminate household electricity expenses. The community interaction was attended by former State Minister Subhash Sudha, Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena, and several senior administrative officials.
