Saint Kabir’s teachings provide the right direction to humanity even today: CM Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Friday, April 17, 2026, that the teachings of Saint Shiromani Kabir Das remain deeply relevant in the modern era. Speaking at a seminar organized by the Bhagat Kabir Welfare Foundation in Mohali, Punjab, the Chief Minister noted that Kabir’s 15th-century crusade against religious bigotry, hypocrisy, and social discrimination continues to serve as a beacon for global brotherhood and social harmony. He emphasized that in a world currently grappling with various tensions and conflicts, Kabir’s philosophy of peace, love, and equality is more vital than ever.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the Haryana government is actively working to bring the wisdom of great saints to every household through the ‘Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman evam Prasar Yojana’. Following Kabir’s principles of equality, the state government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development reach the person at the very end of the line.
