Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): Dr. Rupesh K. Singh has been unanimously re-elected as the Chairman of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Chandigarh Chapter for the 2026-27 term, marking his third consecutive year in the role. The decision was taken unanimously during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the PRCI Chandigarh Chapter held at the UT Guest House.
The AGM also reaffirmed Sudeep Rawat as Secretary for a third consecutive term. Dr. Priya Chadha was appointed as the new Vice President, while Lalit Sharma will serve as Joint Secretary. Pavittar Singh will continue in his role as Treasurer.
The AGM proceedings were reviewed by senior dignitaries including Vivek Atray, former IAS and North Zone Chairman of PRCI, CJ Singh, Director, National Council, PRCI, and Renuka Salwan, former Director of Public Relations, Panjab University, and Senior Executive Vice President, PRCI.
The meeting also welcomed newly inducted Executive Committee members: Sanjay Daniel Banerjee, Ojaswwee Sharma, Amardeep Singh, Renu Yadav, Priya Ranjan, and Surinder Verma.
During the AGM, members discussed the roadmap for the 2025–26 tenure, with key focus areas including the MFI–PRCI Awards, the hosting of the PRCI Global Communication Conclave by the Chandigarh Chapter, and other professional development and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at strengthening the public relations fraternity in the region.
