Haryana Approves ₹1.95 Crore Paper Procurement to Ensure Quality in Government Printing

Chandigarh, December 24: The High Power Purchase Committee of Haryana’s Printing and Stationery Department on Tuesday approved a paper procurement proposal worth ₹1.95 crore, marking a key step in strengthening the quality of materials used for official government work.

The decision was taken during an important meeting held at the Haryana Civil Secretariat, where shortlisted bidders made brief presentations for securing the contract to manufacture and supply paper for government use. After detailed deliberations, the committee cleared the proposal and approved the most suitable company.

The meeting was chaired by State Minister for Printing and Stationery Rajesh Nagar. School Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda was also present and participated in discussions on the tender process along with senior departmental officials. The ministers closely examined the proposals submitted by the bidders before granting final approval.

Officials said special emphasis is being placed on maintaining high quality standards for the paper used in government offices across the state, ensuring durability and consistency in official documentation.

Senior officers of the Printing and Stationery Department, including Commissioner and Secretary Vijay Singh Dahiya and Controller Vivek Padam Singh, were also present during the meeting.
