National Times Bureau :- Punjab and Chandigarh continue to reel under cold conditions despite a slight rise in temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, the region recorded an average increase of 0.4°C in minimum temperatures, bringing them closer to normal levels, yet offering no real relief from the prevailing chill. Weather officials have predicted dry conditions across Punjab until December 13, with no rainfall expected during this period. Adampur remained the coldest location in the state, registering a minimum temperature of 2.6°C, while several other districts also reported temperatures significantly below the seasonal average. Authorities have advised residents to take necessary precautions as cold wave conditions are likely to persist.
