New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): IndiGo’s parent company, InterGlobe Aviation, has set up a Crisis Management Group to monitor and manage the ongoing operational challenges affecting the airline, the company announced on Sunday. The move comes after several days of flight cancellations and delays that have impacted thousands of passengers across India.
In its statement, InterGlobe Aviation said the board is actively overseeing the situation and working to ensure that refunds for cancelled flights are processed promptly. The airline emphasised its commitment to providing assistance to all affected travellers.
IndiGo, which operates one of the largest domestic fleets in the country, has faced service disruptions in multiple regions, causing inconvenience for passengers who had to adjust travel plans at short notice. The newly established crisis team will coordinate efforts to stabilise flight schedules, improve communication with customers, and minimise further operational issues.
The airline added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to update passengers as corrective measures are implemented.
