Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Kendrick Lamar Lead 2026 Grammy Nominations

Los Angeles, November 9, 2025 — The Recording Academy has announced the nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards, with Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Kendrick Lamar leading across multiple major categories. The 68th annual ceremony is set to take place on February 1, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT), promising a star-studded night celebrating the best in global music.

Billie Eilish’s critically acclaimed album Hit Me Hard and Soft has earned her nominations for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year, reaffirming her dominance in contemporary pop. Taylor Swift continues her remarkable streak with nods for The Tortured Poets Department, competing head-to-head with Eilish in several top categories.

Kendrick Lamar, who has long been a powerhouse in hip-hop, is a top contender with Morale & Mercy, securing nominations for Album of the Year, Best Rap Album, and Best Rap Performance. Travis Scott, Doja Cat, and Drake also earned multiple nominations, ensuring a competitive rap category.

In the rock section, Foo Fighters, Paramore, and Queens of the Stone Age lead the charge, while in country music, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and Chris Stapleton dominate key categories, reflecting the genre’s strong storytelling tradition.

This year’s R&B and Afrobeats categories showcase growing diversity, with SZA, Victoria Monét, Tems, and Burna Boy among the prominent names. Asake and Rema earned nominations in the newly introduced Best African Music Performance category, underlining the global reach of African music.

The Producer of the Year category includes major industry figures such as Jack Antonoff, Metro Boomin, and Hit-Boy, celebrating innovation across genres.

With nominations spanning genres and continents, the 2026 Grammys promise to be one of the most competitive and globally representative editions in recent memory.
