Chandigarh, October 5: The Surajkund Diwali Mela 2025 in Faridabad turned into a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and music as renowned singer Deepesh Rahi captivated the audience with his electrifying live performance on Saturday night.

Organized under the direction of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and the guidance of Tourism Minister Arvind Sharma, this year’s fair is themed “Atmanirbhar Bharat – Swadeshi Mela.” The event, which runs until October 7, showcases India’s diverse cultural heritage through traditional crafts, cuisine, and folk arts.
Winner of Voice of Punjab 2013, Deepesh Rahi’s performance was one of the most anticipated highlights of the evening. His soulful and energetic renditions created a magical atmosphere, blending traditional folk music with contemporary rhythms.

Rahi enthralled the crowd with a series of hit songs, including “Samne Hove Yaar Te Nachna Painda Hai,” “Kajra Mohabbat Wala,” “Gur Naal Ishq Mitha,” “Chitte Suit Te Daag Pe Gaye,” “Na Jayi Peera De Dere,” “Dollar Vangu Ni Naam Sada Chalda,” “Do Galla Kariye Baija,” “Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya,” and “Yeh Jo Halkha Halkha Suroor Hai.”
The audience danced, clapped, and sang along, turning the musical night into a festive celebration of togetherness and cultural pride. Rahi’s powerful vocals and engaging stage presence made the event a memorable experience for all visitors, adding sparkle to the ongoing Diwali festivities at Surajkund.
