Intersoft Donates ₹36 Lakh for Saraswati River Revival in Haryana

Chandigarh, September 27 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday received a cheque of ₹36 lakh from Intersoft Director Sandeep Pase for the revival of the Saraswati river. The contribution, made under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), was handed over to the Saraswati Heritage Development Board.

Expressing gratitude for the support, the Chief Minister said the partnership reflected a vital step in preserving Haryana’s cultural and historical legacy. He underlined that reviving the long-lost Saraswati river remains a state government priority, with sustained efforts being made to achieve the goal.

Saini added that Haryana’s vision of development also includes safeguarding heritage for future generations. He noted that the involvement of citizens and private companies in the Saraswati revival project represents an inspiring model of public-private cooperation.

On the occasion, Saraswati Heritage Development Board Vice-Chairman Dhumman Singh Kirmach and Advisor to the Department of Foreign Cooperation Pawan Chaudhary were also present.
