The accused, a Class 8 student, was detained shortly after the attack, sparking widespread outrage and protests by parents demanding stricter safety measures on school premises.
Disturbing Chat Emerges

The friend questioned him about the attack, to which the accused allegedly confessed, saying, “Yes, I stabbed him,” and later added, “What’s done is done.”
The Incident
The stabbing occurred minutes after school hours when Nayan exited the building. According to CCTV footage, a heated argument broke out between the two students, which quickly turned violent. The younger boy allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Nayan in the abdomen.
Badly wounded, Nayan stumbled back into the school premises before collapsing. He was rushed to a private hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
