Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): The Redstone Community Association is preparing to host its second annual Stampede Breakfast on Friday, July 12, promising a vibrant celebration replete with food, games, music, and fun activities for all ages.
In an interview with National Times, association committee members Piara Singh expressed enthusiasm about the growing community participation. “This is our second year, and the enthusiasm is even greater,” said organizers Sanjeev and Vivek. “Many residents have volunteered to contribute diverse types of food, demonstrating the true spirit of community.” They also added, Premier Danielle Smith will also attend this event with other dignitaries.

The event aims to bring the Calgary Stampede atmosphere to those who may not be able to attend the main festivities at Stampede Park. Often referred to as “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth,” the Calgary Stampede is a hallmark event in the city, and Redstone is doing its part to make it accessible to everyone, especially seniors, children, and families.
Beyond the traditional pancake breakfast, this year’s event will feature Indian food, games, music, and rides, creating a fun and inclusive environment for all residents. They also extended gratitude to the volunteers and sponsors for their support in making this event more successful. Everyone in Redstone and surrounding neighborhoods is invited to join and be part of this local celebration of Calgary’s western heritage and community spirit.
