Chandigarh, May 13, 2025 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini strongly condemned terrorism while addressing the media in Panchkula after participating in a ‘Tiranga Yatra’. He stated that the world now clearly sees Pakistan as a terror-sponsoring state. “We are not against any individual or nation—we are against terrorism,” he emphasized.
CM Saini lauded India’s firm stance against terrorism, referencing the country’s decisive actions such as the surgical strike, air strike, and the recent Operation Sindoor, which targeted and destroyed terrorist camps.

Commenting on the Pahalgam tragedy, he recalled how families, especially women, suffered due to Pakistan-backed terrorism. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had vowed to eliminate terrorism, and Operation Sindoor reflects that commitment. “The Prime Minister has made it clear in his address to the nation—terrorism will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” Saini said.
He further mentioned that Tiranga Yatras are being held across the country to honor the bravery of Indian soldiers following Operation Sindoor. The Panchkula event was part of this national tribute.

The Chief Minister praised the Indian armed forces for their courage and valor, noting that they not only eliminated hundreds of terrorists but also dismantled the camps used to train them before infiltration into India.

Responding to another question, Saini criticized the opposition for lacking a solid stance, accusing them of losing ground politically. “They first questioned the surgical and air strikes, and now they’re demanding a special Parliament session post-Operation Sindoor, despite being fully briefed in the all-party meeting,” he said.
