CM Nayab Singh Saini Reviews Preparations Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit to Hisar

New terminal and air services to be launched at Maharaja Agrasen Airport on April 14

Chandigarh, April 8 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar on Tuesday to review preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on April 14. The Prime Minister is set to lay the foundation stone for the proposed new terminal building and inaugurate air services from the airport.

During his visit, the Chief Minister held a detailed meeting with administrative officers and inspected the arrangements being made for the high-profile event. He emphasized that all necessary measures must be in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the program and the comfort of attendees. Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa, MLAs Savitri Jindal and Randhir Panihar, and senior officials were present at the review meeting.

Saini directed that alternative road routes be arranged to avoid inconvenience to the general public. He also stressed the need for adequate arrangements of clean drinking water, toilets, fans, and other essential amenities at the venue.

To manage the expected large crowd from various districts, the Chief Minister instructed officials to designate separate parking areas for each district. The entire program site has been divided into sectors, with designated sections for youth and women in front of the main stage.

The Chief Minister further directed that the airport premises should be completely cleared of wildlife. Officials assured that nearly all wild animals have already been relocated, and further efforts are ongoing to ensure the area is secure.

He instructed continuous monitoring and updates to maintain all arrangements in perfect order until the event.
