Calgary, March 2025 – The Calgary Marathi Association (CMA) is all set to celebrate Gudi Padwa, the Marathi New Year, with a grand event on April 6, 2025, at the Chinese Cultural Centre in downtown Calgary. The event, running from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, promises a vibrant mix of cultural festivities, food, and shopping. The morning and afternoon sessions will feature traditional food stalls and shopping booths, offering a taste of Maharashtra’s rich culture and flavors.
Visitors can indulge in authentic Maharashtrian delicacies and explore a variety of handcrafted products. The highlight of the evening will be a live concert by renowned vocalist Smt. Devaki Pandit, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Attendees can expect a mesmerizing performance of classical and semi-classical melodies, making it a memorable musical experience.
