Zirakpur (National Times): To meet the shortage of blood in hospitals due to summer, Vishvas Foundatio,n Panchkula and Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Mohali organized a blood donation camp in Zirakpur with the blessings of Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji. This blood donation camp was organized near Metro Store in Zirakpur. 61 donors registered to donate blood in the camp, 4 were refused to donate blood due to health problems. The team of Blood Bank AM Care Blood Center Zirakpur collected 57 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Kartik Agarwal.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of Vishvas Foundation, said that people have a misconception that donating blood causes weakness in the body. There is no weakness due to blood donation, rather everyone must donate blood once in 90 days. This helps the needy as well as keeps the body healthy. A pious work like blood donation comes under the greatest service.
All the blood donors who came to this blood donation camp were encouraged by giving them certificates of appreciation and gifts. On this occasion Rishi Shashwat Vishvas, Sham Sunder Sawhney, Rakesh Garg, Alka Garg, Sandeep Parmar, Brij Mahajan and other dignitaries from Vishvas Foundation were present.
