Zirakpur, December 17, 2025 – In an effort to address the shortage of blood in hospitals, Vishvas Foundation Panchkula, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch Mohali, organised a blood donation camp in Zirakpur on Wednesday.
The camp was held opposite the Metro Store in Zirakpur with the blessings of Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji. A team from AM Care Blood Centre, Zirakpur, collected 43 units of blood during the camp under the supervision of Dr Kartik Agarwal.
President of Vishvas Foundation, Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, said that many people hesitate to donate blood due to the misconception that it leads to physical weakness. She emphasised that blood donation does not cause weakness and encouraged people to donate blood once every 90 days, noting that the practice benefits both donors and those in need. She described blood donation as one of the highest forms of social service.
All blood donors who participated in the camp were honoured with appreciation letters and gifts as a gesture of gratitude. Several members and dignitaries of Vishvas Foundation, including Rishi Shashwat Vishvas, Rakesh Garg, Pawan Garg and Sandeep Parmar, were present on the occasion.
