Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has congratulated 17 girls from Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (AFPI) for clearing the National Defence Academy (NDA) written examination, describing their success as a proud moment for the state.
Taking to X, Mann highlighted that the institute had recorded the highest number of successful candidates among government institutes across the country, with all 17 achievers being girls.
The chief minister also pointed out the significance of their accomplishment, noting that around 94 per cent of NDA seats are reserved for boys. He said the candidates had challenged traditional barriers through their determination, hard work and commitment.
