Dera Bassi, February 17, 2025 – Shri Ramleela Committee (Reg. No. 812) of Dera Bassi has been raising funds to purchase a new ambulance. Responding to their appeal, Ryan Engineering Pvt. Ltd. donated ₹1,00,000 towards this noble cause.
The cheque was handed over to Committee President Ravinder Vaishno, Cashier Upesh Bansal, Secretary Dinesh Kumar, and Patron Balbir Maggo. Sardar Gurdeep Singh Chahal, a social worker, played a key role in securing the donation. He assured that further efforts would be made to gather more financial support.
16 Years of Dedicated Ambulance Service
President Ravinder Vaishno highlighted that for the past 16 years, the committee’s ambulance has been serving the community free of cost. The old vehicle will now be replaced with a new one, ensuring uninterrupted emergency services.
He also mentioned that donations to the organization are tax-exempt.
A Legacy of Social & Religious Service
Speaking at the event, social worker Barkha Ram Ji emphasized that Shri Ramleela Committee has been actively engaged in community service and religious promotion for several years.
